Chefsessel – Executive's Chair
Power to the artists! The director’s room at the Gessnerallee is temporarily abandoned and will be occupied by different people for 6 months. Each month a Zurich artist is invited to do his/her work and research sitting on the comfortable executive’s chair instead of working at the usual kitchen table. Guests and artistic interventions during the daily grind of the theatrical office are welcome!
During February, Andreas Liebmann will occupy the chair on the first floor. Moreover, the Winter Academy will move in temporarily.
So far, the Artist-CEOs have proven to be very successful and have brought a good load of inspiration to our Bel-Etage. Power to the artists! In March, Simone Aughterlony will be doing research for her new project, followed by Jessica Glause and Florian Stirnemann who invite you to ĞMenu Exyougoslaviağ on March 15th. After that, Lucie Tuma will be occupying the Executive’s Chair on the first floor in order to continue her research on passivity.
