PLASMA

Theatre
A biometrical Theatre-Installation

PLASMA leads the audience through an identity assessment process: data is collected, forms are stamped and passes are issued. Friendly hostesses accompany us into the automated theatre machine "ID" which is set between the poles of politically claimed data transparency and system inherent concealement for the sake of inner security. As if we had escaped from the world to be lead through the registring system of the gates of heaven we ask ourselves: Why do I think that I am another person than the others? And: Am I - in the case of complete amnesia and loss of all identification documents - still I or am I then already or yet or again another person?
