When the unexpected actually happens some are overwhelmed, some are angry, some stay calm. Others finally reach their peak form and outgrow themselves. At the «Soundcheck» there is one present sound technician and many unexpectedly absent musicians. The instruments are tuned, the music books are open. The technician knows about all the preferences, fears and animosities of the absent - more than he knows about himself. He has heard so many rehearsals that he can play their mistakes from memory.
