«ALL IS WELL
THAT BEGINS WELL
AND HAS NO END»

The twilight congress took place between 1945 and 1948 and was a futurological conference of scientists, artists and politicians who had followed the call of a Russian novelist. The goal of the meeting is the immediate bringing about of the golden age. It is all about the development of a formula with which future reality can both be predicted and influenced.
The proceedings of this congress serve as a theatrical score and a musical assignment for the musicians and performers. The tactics and techniques for the construction of a shining future are tried out and reconstructed step by step, and then publicly tested for any problem that might prevent this future from happening. Music plays the most important role here. It is arranged by Mathias Weibel, Evelinn Trouble and Thom Luz.
«Tag der hellen Zukunft» (Day of the shining future) is an incantation of the human capacity for an optimism of despair; a show about the elasticity of reality, about order and chaos, the now and the future, the problem and its solution.

«The pigeonhole for Thom Luz and his theatre hasn't been found yet. It should be custom-made.» Süddeutsche Zeitung
