“We are waves of the same sea, leaves of the same tree, flowers of the same garden.” – poem, sent in boxes of medical supplies from China to Europe in the days of the pandemic during the first days of the pandemic in 2020.
Hello to all our listeners, get your headphones ready and prepare for this sound trip aboard a wave. This is a two-part radio series that mixes storytelling, reading aloud, soundscapes and interviews with live performance.
Members of the Noís Radio collective, accompanied by the voices of people who have migrated or who have explored the landscapes of countries other than their own, will inhabit the depths of the waters and mountains that separate the different countries but are "waves of the same sea and flowers form the same garden" to create a story that mixes and puts in dialogue questions, interests, mysteries... ways of communicating. It is a long conversation, a conversation in invented, mixed-race, transient languages. "I'm not from here, but neither are you".
The two-part radio play Desandares will be played on Friday and Sunday via radio stream on the Gessnerallee website and can be heard live on the following radio stations: duuuradio, Megahex.fm, radiolibre, Radio LoRa.
