From the very beginning, Gessnerallee has been keen to create a multi-voiced programme in which different perspectives, aesthetics and curatorial models are visible. Therefore, since August 2021, instead of a few full-time positions, the group of programme directors has been composed of several part-time positions as well as four additional people with a small annual workload. The permanent part of the programme group consists of Rabea Grand (Focus Coordination), Marcel Grissmer (Focus Community & Mediation), Viviane Lichtenberger (Focus Club/Music) and Lisa Letnansky (Focus Local Scene Dance/Theatre). They are complemented by four co-curators Catalina Insignares, Lhaga Koondhor, Marc Streit and Pankaj Tiwari. (Focus International Programme), some of whom come from Zurich, others from outside, and who, like satellites, influence and help shape the Gessnerallee's programme in a more focused way for various cycles, events or programme tracks.
All members of the programme group have a specific focus as well as their own areas of responsibility. In their respective areas, they are the contact persons for the artists and communities with whom we work in these areas. However, decisions are rarely made alone, but almost always in collective processes, in different constellations within the programme group.
